End of 'Ulysses' copyright will breathe new life into Bloomsday

THE EXPIRY of the copyright on James Joyce’s Ulysses next

year will liberate the text from the “notoriously restrictive”

instincts of his grandson Stephen Joyce, .

The lifting of the copyright restrictions will  be celebrated by

a fresh approach to aspects of Ulysses in Bruff’s

Bloomsday celebration.

The Bloomsday festival  ths coming year sees

Bloomsday (16th June) fall on a Saturday.
